NHS CPFT Cameo (Early Intervention Psychosis Service)

Cameo is a service for people aged 14-35 years old who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time. There is evidence to show that recognising and treating psychotic experiences early leads to better outcomes and an improved chance of recovery.

You can self-refer to the Cameo service – full contact details are given here. The Cameo service support those experiencing psychotic symptoms for the first time in a range of ways, including:

  • psychological therapies
  • medical consultation
  • emotional support
  • practical help with housing and finances
  • support with education and employment
  • physical health assessment with targeted interventions as required.
