Aspire – Romsey Mill

Nicolas talks about what Aspire means to him:

Run by Ruth and her team, Aspire supports autistic children and young people living in Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire. Aspire activities and groups reduce social isolation and improve the lives and mental well-being of the young people who attend.

To access the Aspire programme a child needs to:

• have an autism diagnosis;
• be in mainstream school, in Year 5 or above (up to age 18);
• live in the City of Cambridge or South Cambridgeshire.

Romsey Mill receives a high number of enquiries and referrals for Aspire and operates waiting lists for many of the groups.

Talk to the Aspire team about funding for attending these groups as circumstances vary.
