Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Volunteering Opportunities

Back to Activities

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people with advanced serious illness or other life-limiting conditions with end of life care. ARHC has a range of volunteering opportunities suiting all skills, experience & interests.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • you’ll make a difference in the local community – it feels good to do good;
  • being part of a team can lead to new friendships;
  • you’ll develop skills, confidence and gain work experience.

“It has always been a privilege to volunteer at Arthur Rank. The sense of team is encouraging and supportive.”

What to expect

All volunteer vacancies are listed on the ARHC website including what tasks you will do and what the time commitment is for each role. Roles range from a weekly, monthly or even ad-hoc shift pattern so there’s something for everyone. Once you find a role you are interested in simply apply online or contact the Team to find out more. Once your application is received the Team will invite you to an informal interview to get to know you and ensure you are paired with the role that meets your needs, skills and passions.
